The ideal time for a newborn photoshoot is when your baby is 5–14 days old, when they are still very sleepy and naturally curled.
Sessions are available up to 8 weeks, but poses may be simpler and more natural as your baby grows.
Our studio is based in Eccles, Greater Manchester (M30 0GB) and is fully equipped with outfits, wraps, and props for your session.
Parents and siblings are always welcome to join — just let us know in advance.

Perfect for families who would love extra time to create a wider variety of timeless images and beautiful family memories.
• Relaxed, baby-led studio session (up to 3.5 hours)
• Extra time for feeding, cuddles and allowing your baby to settle naturally
• A beautiful selection of wraps, outfits and props is provided for your newborn
• Parents and siblings are warmly welcome to be part of the session
• Receive your complete online gallery of beautifully edited digital images (typically 20–40 images) – every image is included, with no need to choose favourites.
Every newborn is unique, and every session is completely baby-led. Your baby's comfort and wellbeing will always come first, allowing us to create beautiful, natural images at their own pace.
Each collection includes your complete gallery of carefully selected and professionally edited images. The final number of images will naturally vary depending on your baby's comfort, feeding, settling and cooperation during the allocated session time. On average, galleries include between 10 and 40 images, depending on the collection you choose.
Only the very best photographs are included in your final gallery. Duplicate images, test shots, out-of-focus photographs and any images that do not meet our quality standards are carefully removed.
Each collection includes a set session duration. To make the most of your experience, please arrive on time, as late arrivals will reduce the available session time. Unfortunately, sessions cannot be extended beyond the booked time.

Anna was very patient and kind during our visit- she understood that our daughter needed feeding and changing during the middle of the shoot and was very accommodating. I've used SA Photography for Newborn shoots for both of my children. Anna was fantastic with the babies, she was so gentle putting them and me at ease. Her studio is easy to get to and she makes a great effort with the set ups providing a range of different photos.
